DISOWNED MEMORIES
The theme of this collection is “disowned memories”. PHOTOGRAPHER | Jackie Kursel MODEL | Parker Haws
Introducing Disowned Memories, explores the traces left behind by experiences we choose to reject. Moments once lived, later disowned, yet never fully erased. Rather than describing memory literally, the collection translates it into form through texture, proportion, and restraint.
Tailoring appears familiar but subtly unsettled: displaced, softened, and expanded as if shaped by time rather than trend. Structured silhouettes meet fluid volume, creating a quiet tension between control and vulnerability.
The palette remains muted and introspective. Washed blacks, cold greys, and faded neutrals evoke garments that feel already lived-in. Matte wools, worn surfaces, and restrained sheens catch the light only briefly before receding, like echoes of memory rendered in material.
Not nostalgic, but distant, Disowned Memories exists in an in-between state where identity is defined as much by what is left behind as by what is kept.
